THE AUTHORS
ANTON
J. S. KEATING has been a practicing attorney in Baltimore since
1969. He served as a Chief Prosecutor in the State’s Attorney’s
Office of Baltimore City and as an Assistant Public Defender in Baltimore
City for five years. He has been counsel in over 150 murder cases
throughout Maryland. Mr. Keating has been qualified by the Circuit
Courts of Maryland as an expert in the prosecution and defense of criminal
cases and has been described as “defense counsel par excellence”
and a “prosecutor extraordinaire.” (City Paper). Early
in his career, he was called a “boy wonder Chief Prosecutor who
may know more about the criminal justice system than anyone else.”
(City Paper) On two occasions, Mr. Keating ran for State’s
Attorney for Baltimore City and received the endorsements of all major
local newspapers. It has been said of him that “if courtrooms
were boxing rings, Anton Keating would be the champ.” (The Sun)

ERIN
KEATING is a consultant to BBC America, covering scripts under consideration
for co-production and U.S. broadcast, in addition to her work on Devils'
Angels. She also develops projects with independent film and television
production company Dahooma Productions, where she is co-writing a screenplay
based on the work of Criminologist George Kelling.
Erin recently Associate Produced both "Rise of the Geeks!,"
a half-hour special for E! Entertainment with Idiot Box Productions,
and quot;The A/V Club," an independent pilot written and Executive
Produced by Rebecca Feldman, creator of Broadway’s "25th
Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee."
Erin has worked under producer Lisa Leingang at NBC, where she coordinated
New York's live comedy development space PSNBC, and with EVP and General
Manager Bill Hilary at Comedy Central. She has produced countless
downtown comedy shows, and served as the artistic director of the comedy
group "Faulty Logic." Her one woman show, "Ravenous,"
received raves in the 2001 New York International Fringe Festival.
She holds a B.A. in Theatre from Oberlin College.

DARCY ROOD MASSOF has been a practicing attorney in Baltimore
since 1984. A large part of her practice has been involved with
the child welfare/juvenile court system.
She has represented all parties in child abuse/neglect cases: as the
Chief Counsel of the Baltimore City Department of Social Services where
her staff handled more than 17,000 child abuse/neglect hearings per
year; through the Office of the Public Defender representing parents
in cases in which the Department of Social Services has placed their
children in foster and adoptive homes due to the parents’ abuse
or neglect; and as the attorney for the abused and neglected children.
Through the Office of the Public Defender, she also has represented
children/teens in delinquency proceedings.
